SCBWI Conference Critique
The really great thing about going to conferences is that it gives me a chance to have other artists look at my work.
I created this artwork to show art directors and others artists at the 2018 Orlando SCBWI (Society of Childrens Book Writers and Illustrators) conference.
The first illustration is the piece I handed in.
One of the comments was that the room doesn’t look like a room. I added a wall and the little piggy looking in. I also lightened things up a bit. I like the second version a lot better.
